Residents in Stuyvesant are concerned about the planned replacement of the historic Stuyvesant Falls bridge.
According to the Columbia County town, the current proposal would replace the existing bridge carrying County Route 25A over Kinderhook Creek.
The plan would provide a new structure design to meet updated safety standards and improve traffic flow, the town said.
It would also install sidewalks and widen the roadway shoulders for people to walk and bike.
A bridge committee meeting is happening this Thursday night, Sep. 5, at 6 p.m. It takes place at town hall.
