Hudson Falls man accused of welfare fraud

A Hudson Falls man is accused of welfare fraud.

Jaquob A. Bushey, 24, allegedly never reported income to the Washington County Department of Social Services. This caused him to receive more than $1,000 in benefits that he was not eligible to receive, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Bushey was charged with grand larceny and welfare fraud. He was released on an appearance ticket and due in Fort Edward Town Court at a later date.
