Enrollment at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy has grown for the third year in a row.

Classes began Tuesday for more than 6,800 full-time and part-time students. The school says that’s a 9.5% increase from last year.

New students are up more than 6%. Returning students are up more than 9%.

All this as the school right now is searching for a new school president after former President Roger Ramsammy was fired following a sexual harassment allegation. NewsChannel 13’s Tessa Bentulan broke that news.
