Seniors at Rensselaer High School are getting some of their first college acceptances with the “HVCC Guarantee.”

The program is designed to encourage students to begin their college career at Hudson Valley Community College by guaranteeing acceptance to Hudson Valley Community College and helping students navigate financial aid and the enrollment processes.

 Brunswick Central School District’s Tamarac High School was the first to receive the guarantee this school year with an event in September, and Troy and Lansingburgh students will be next.

While there are currently no plans to include other districts this year, the Hudson Valley admissions team said it is happy to work with any high school students who are interested in attending HVCC.
