An inmate at Hudson Correctional Facility has admitted to selling fentanyl that led to another inmate’s death.
According to the Department of Corrections, Eric Sleezer pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide in Columbia County Court.
An inmate at the prison died from a fentanyl overdose on January 31, 2023.
Sleezer, a fellow inmate, was arrested in October of last year after an investigation.
He has been sentenced to 1 ½ to 3 years in prison.
