Johnstown man charged in Galway burglaries

A Johnstown man is accused of burglary.

Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person at a home Route 29 in the town of Galway on Jan. 11 just after 10 a.m. David R. Bant, 42, allegedly entered and was in the residence unlawfully, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

He is also accused of illegally entering a separate non-residential building on the property, police said. 

Bant was charged with two counts of burglary. He was arraigned in Galway Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail.
