The 2026 Winter Olympics are set to take place in Italy.
Just in case that location falls through, the Olympics could return to Upstate New York.
Lake Placid has been chosen as the Plan B site for the next Olympic games.
The village in the Adirondacks could host some events during the games if necessary.
Lake Placid hosted the Winter Olympics in 1932 and 1980.
