Liberian national gets prison time for having guns at Saratoga Springs home

A Liberian national previously living in Saratoga Springs was sentenced on Wednesday to 21 months in prison for illegally possessing guns.

Mana Sambola, also known as “Coffee,” had previously pleaded guilty in federal court. Sambola was arrested after a search of his apartment on May 22, 2023 found a Glock pistol and AM15 rifle emblazoned with the names of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse – “Death,” “War,” “Famine” and “Pestilence,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sambola also had four boxes of ammunition.

Sambola has a previous felony conviction and is not allowed to have weapons, according to prosecutors.

He also must serve 3 years of post-release supervision.
