Mayor Safford says Saratoga Springs is about connections

Mayor John Safford is in his first term as mayor of Saratoga Springs.
He has been a resident of the city for about 25 years.
Safford tells NewsChannel 13 that what he enjoys most about the city is the people and the way people and various organizations nonprofits to work together.
One example is the homeless shelter that the county approved purchasing land for.
