Mechanicville man charged in thefts from vehicles

A Mechanicville man has been arrested in connection with a string of thefts from vehicles.
Mechanicville Police received many complaints about stolen items. Commercial and residential video surveillance footage led police to identify 27-year-old Zachary Gaulke as the suspect.
He was charged with one count of grand larceny and two counts of petit larceny.
Gaulke was arrested back in September on similar charges and released to pre-trial services.
Investigators are using this as a reminder for residents to lock their vehicles.
