Mechanicville man gets over 8 years in prison for drug, gun charges

A Mechanicville man has been sentenced to over eight years in state prison for selling meth and having guns.
Charles Brennan, 45, was convicted on drug and firearms charges last September.
Between July and September of 2022, Brennan was part of a conspiracy to possess and distribute drugs on several occasions, prosecutors said.
In addition to nine grams of pure meth, he also had eight firearms including a ghost gun, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
Brennan will also spend four years on post-release supervision.
