Middleburgh man accused of having child pornography

A Middleburgh man is accused of having child pornography.

Christian L. McChance, 23, allegedly possessed images consistent with child exploitation, State Police said. Police searched his home on Feb. 1 after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

In addition, McChance had a controlled substance.

McChance was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child, possessing a sexual performance of a child and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Schoharie County Jail to await arraignment.
