The town of Milton is honoring its veterans at a ceremony later this month.

The event will be held on Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. The ceremony will commemorate a sign honoring veterans of the Revolutionary War at North Milton Cemetery on the north side of Route 29.

The color guard of the Saratoga Battle Chapter Sons of the American Revolution will execute a musket fire salute in period uniforms.
