A Moreau man has admitted to raping a child under the age of 17.

Alim Mohammed, 34, pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court on Monday to second-degree rape.

Mohammed was arrested in April after police received a report that he had sexual c contact with another person by force. It happened in September at the Lamplighter Acres mobile home park.

Police said that Mohammed supplied the victim with alcohol and cannabis.

Mohammed is scheduled to be sentenced on June 23.
