A new apartment complex is now open in Albany.

The 42-unit complex was built at 36 Hackett Boulevard. The property was previously a vacant lot.

It’s a $15 million, 60,000-square-foot, four-story building.

This project expands an investment into the Delaware Avenue area neighborhood and University Heights, strengthening connections to park south with the reserve on Hackett.

It provides new housing options for the colleges and medical centers nearby.

The complex has 44 off-street covered parking spaces, and a crosswalk connecting to an adjacent bike path on Hackett Boulevard.
