Peruvian restaurant opens in Watervliet

Quechua Peruvian restaurant opens in Watervliet.

A new restaurant is bringing the taste of Peru to the Capital Region.

Quechua Peruvian Restaurant has opened at 1297 Broadway in Watervliet.

It is opened by a husband-and-wife team of Miguel and Edith Geronimo, who emigrated from Peru in 2001.

They say their delicious Peruvian dishes are a blend of African, Spanish, Italian and Asian influences and lots of spices from around the world.

The married couple say they’ve had their eye on this location and opening a restaurant for a while.

Oscar and Edith say that this is an adventure that they want everybody to be a part of. They just hope people can enjoy the food and drinks available.

It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
