North Greenbush man allegedly violated orders of protection nine times

A North Greenbush man has been arrested nine times for allegedly violating orders of protection.

Ross Everton, 31, allegedly went to the home of the protected person and stayed overnight. The family member was not home at the time, North Greenbush Police said.

Everton was found at an address in Stephentown, where police said he was working for a contractor. He was arrested.

Everton was charged with criminal contempt and stalking,

He was arraigned in North Greenbush Town Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail.

Police said not all of the arrests have involved in the same victim. Most are still pending in court.
