Orange County man faces drug charges after traffic stop

An Orange County man is facing drug charges after an Albany traffic stop.
State Police stopped a vehicle on the Northway in Albany on Jan. 13 around 10:20 a.m. for traffic violations.
With the help of a K-9 from the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, investigators found felony weight narcotics and another controlled substance in the vehicle, police said.
The driver, Ibo Boone, 37, was charged with two felony counts and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations.
He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and sent to Albany County Jail without bail.
