Pair faces drug charges after Wilton traffic stop

Two people are facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Wilton.
Troopers pulled over a vehicle on the Northway in Wilton on March 10 just before 3:30 p.m. for a traffic violation. Abel O. Garcia Romano, 28, of Albany, was the driver and Jaheim T. Gadsen Marble, 37, of Schenectady, was the passenger. With the assistance of a Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office K-9, troopers found felony-weight narcotics on Gadsen Marble’s body, which he secreted to conceal.
He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy. Garcia Romano was charged with conspiracy and traffic violations.
Gadsen Marble was arraigned in Moreau Town Court and sent without bail to Saratoga County Jail. Garcia Romano was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Wilton Town Court on April 8.
