Partial solar eclipse to be visible in Capital Region on Saturday

Your solar eclipse glasses from last year will come in handy this weekend.
A partial eclipse of the sun will take place right at sunrise on Saturday morning, according to scientists at Hudson Valley Community College.
The partial eclipse begins at 5:26 a.m., before sunrise. The sun will be partially eclipsed when it rises in Albany just before 6:45 a.m.
Unlike last year’s eclipse when more than 90% of the sun was covered, this will only be about 32% coverage at its peak.
Remember, you should never view the eclipse with the naked eye.
