A person was ticketed after an unattended fire threatened to burn a mobile home park in Washington County.

The fire happened on Feb. 10 around 10 p.m. The Department of Environmental Conservation responded to assist with a fire on Coach Road in Argyle. The fire was around 40 feet in diameter and 15 feet high. It was located within 200 feet of a mobile home park.

A forest ranger helped the Argyle Fire Department and the fire was put out within an hour, DEC said.
