Pittsfield High School principal announces resignation at end of school year
More changes are coming at Pittsfield High School, as another leader said they plan to resign.
High school Principal Maggie Harrington-Esko said in a letter to students and families that she is stepping down at the end of the school year.
Harrington-Esko said she has spent the last 18 years with the school, and that this is a decision she has come to on her own.
NewsChannel 13 has closely reported on Pittsfield schools in recent months, as it has been in the spotlight of a number of recent scandals.
Several other administrators were put on paid administrative leave for allegations of drug trafficking and misconduct.
Harrington-Esko has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
As NewsChannel 13 reported back in February, Pittsfield Superintendent Joseph Curtis is also stepping down in June.
