Pittsfield Police arrested a man who they say displayed a gun during a domestic dispute.

The Berkshire Eagle is reporting that 45-year-old Terrell Ortiz is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Wednesday night, police say Ortiz attacked the victim with his hands but also had a gun with him.

He was later arrested near his home on Francis Avenue.

The gun was later found in his driveway.

Investigators say the gun was stolen out of Clarksburg in 2017.

Ortiz has pleaded not guilty, and he is currently being held in jail.
