Police: Albany man had stimulant

A 18-year-old Albany man is accused of possessing a stimulant.

Bethlehem Police stopped a vehicle on Bender Lane around 12 a.m. Thursday for a traffic violation. Amar H. Mehsin allegedly had a drug called Khat, which contains the stimulant cathinone.

Mehsin was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. He was released under the supervision of probation and due in Bethlehem Town Court on May 20.
