Police: Albany man possessed meth
An Albany man is accused of possessing meth.
Police stopped Samuel P. Guarino, 37, on Monday in the area of Clinton Avenue and Quail Street, according to the Albany County Sheriff's Office. Guarino had a quantity of methamphetamine that was packaged for distribution, police said.
He also had an active warrant.

Guarino was charged with one felony count and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He also faces a count of bail jumping.
Guarino pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday in Albany City Criminal Court. He is being held at Albany County Jail.
