Police: Albany man slashed person in the face

An Albany man is facing charges for allegedly slashing a person in the face.
Joseph Brennan, 35, allegedly kicked in the front door of the victim’s residence on Broad Street near Schuyler Street around 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday. Brennan then assaulted the 42-year-old man with a knife, Albany Police said.
Brennan left the scene, but he was arrested in the area of Steuben Street and North Pearl Street.
Brennan was charged with second-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal mischief. He was arraigned Tuesday in Albany City Criminal Court and sent to Albany County Jail.
