Police: Albany man with kids in car nearly 3x too drunk to drive

An Albany man is accused of drunken driving with two children in the vehicle.

State Police troopers stopped a vehicle on Central Avenue in Colonie for a traffic violation. Marcus Barrolle, 33, was found to be intoxicated. He had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.23% – nearly three times the legal limit.

Two children under the age of 16 were in the vehicle, police said.

Barrolle was charged with two counts of felony DWI-Leandra’s Law and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He also faces other traffic violations.

He was issued an appearance ticket and due in Colonie Town Court on July 17.
