Police: Clifton Park man arrested after threatening victim with handgun

Jassen Washington, 18, from Clifton Park is accused of having an illegal loaded gun.

Washington and two other people were behind an Osborne Street home in Albany Tuesday, July 30 around 8 p.m., when they were asked to leave, Albany Police said. That’s when police said Washington and another person pulled out a gun.

Washington was found a short time later near Lincoln Square Apartments and arrested after a brief foot chase. He had a loaded .380 caliber handgun on him, according to police.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, then sent to Albany County Jail.
