Police: Pair stole from Brunswick Walmart

Two people from Troy are accused of stealing more than $1,000 from Walmart.

State Police said Hector R. Padin, 48, and Shannon K. Terry, 50, entered the store in Brunswick on Dec. 20 around 7:50 p.m. and worked together to steal multiple items. They met back up outside the store after the theft and they were found walking nearby, according to police.

In addition, Padin allegedly had controlled substances.

They were both charged with grand larceny, tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy. Padin faces a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

They were arraigned in Brunswick Town Court and sent without bail to Rensselaer County Jail.
