Police: Saratoga man had child pornography

A Saratoga man is accused of having child pornography.

State Police said Nathaniel O. Chaput, 27, was arrested after a search of his home on Feb. 14. The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received an online tip.

Chaput was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned at the Saratoga Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail of $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond, or $100,000 partially secured bond.
