Police: Schenectady woman drove stolen vehicle
A Schenectady woman is accused of driving a stolen vehicle.
State Police responded to a Guilderland home for a report of a theft. As troopers interviewed the victim, the stolen vehicle was stopped by an Albany County Sheriff’s deputy in the area of Clinton Street, State Police said.
The driver, Vanessa Ivery, 29, was charged with grand larceny and trespass.
She was released on an appearance ticket and due in Guilderland Town Court on July 18.
The vehicle was returned to the owner undamaged. She did not know the victim, police said.
