Police seek leads in 1988 case of Texas woman found dead on Twin Bridges

Saturday marked 37 years since the body of a Texas woman was found on the Twin Bridges, and State Police are still searching for leads.

The body of Terri Roark, 31, was discovered on the northbound lanes of the bridge in Halfmoon on March 29, 1988. Her death was ruled a homicide, according to police.  

Later that day, a bag containing items belonging to Roark was found 11 miles to the north.

Terri was from Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and was last seen on March 21, 1988, leaving a mental health facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
