Queensbury man accused of driving drunk and crashing vehicle

A 21-year-old Queensbury man is accused of driving recklessly while intoxicated.
Officers responded to a crash on Sunday just before 4:45 p.m. on Route 9 near the intersection of Blood Pond Road in Lake George.
Cullen S. Jackson allegedly was speeding in his 2019 Volkswagen and passing several vehicles, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. He lost control of the vehicle, went into the oncoming lane and crashed into a guide rail.
Jackson then ricocheted off the rail and hit another vehicle traveling north, according to investigators.
Jackson had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.09%. The legal limit is 0.08%. He was charged with reckless driving, speeding, failure to keep right, unlicensed operation and DWI.
Jackson was processed and released to appear in Lake George Town Court on a later date.
