Queensbury man charged with felony DWI

A Queensbury man is accused of driving while intoxicated.

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Fox Hollow Lane in the town of Queensbury around 12:04 a.m. The driver, 40-year-old Christopher A. Dore, was charged with DWI, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The charge was upgraded to a felony because he has a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years, investigators said. He was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation because his license is suspended.

Dore refused to take a breath test, according to police. He was released on appearance tickets and is due in Queensbury Town Court at a later date.
