The building is located at 257 Second St.
The Albany County Land Bank has been working to revitalize this and other buildings.
“When New York State created a law that allowed land banks to be created, we knew that this was a great opportunity for the city and the county of Albany,” said Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan. “It took a couple of tries, but ultimately the land bank was created so that we could have an entity that would take ownership of and become stewards of these buildings.”
The property is now going up for sale.
