Road rage case leads to charges in Schenectady County

Niskayuna Police and Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office worked together to solve a road rage case.

Khalid Sheffield, 53, of Schenectady was arrested after reports of road rage last Wednesday, on Troy Schenectady Road near Lisha Kill Road.

There were also reports of shots fired, police said.

Sheffield is now facing felony charges, including criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, and reckless endangerment.

NewsChannel 13 reached out to Niskayuna Police for more details. They told us the detectives did not have much to go off of, other than a description of the victim’s car.
