Saratoga County man heads to prison for sale of ‘ghost guns,’ meth

An Edinburg man was sentenced to over 6 years in prison for selling “ghost guns” and meth.

Christopher Montano, 40, previously admitted that between August and October 2019, he and Michael Castelluccio conspired to build and sell guns made from component parts ordered online, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

These guns do not have serial numbers.

Montano admitted to possessing short-barreled rifles without having filed an application or getting federal approval, prosecutors said.

He also sold more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
