New renderings are out for an upgraded Saratoga County Airport.

The large-scale project includes a new terminal and adjoining aircraft hangar.

Other improvements include a new waiting area, concessionaire tenant spaces, rental car lease space and a connected 20,000-square-foot hangar.

A new lobby will display classic cars from the Saratoga Automobile Museum. There will also be a restaurant and exhibit area upstairs.

One runway may also be used for additional air traffic during the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga Race Course.

The project was awarded $27 million through Gov. Kathy Hochul’s $230 million Upstate Airport Economic Development and Revitalization Competition.
