Saratoga Springs man gets 6 years in prison for child pornography

A Saratoga Springs man was sentenced on Wednesday to 6 years in prison for receiving child pornography.

Christopher Barry, 42, previously admitted that between June 2021 and January 2022, he received child porn, including images of prepubescent minors, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. Also, he had two phones containing child pornography.

There were more than 1,500 still images and at least four videos of child pornography involved, prosecutors said.

In addition, Barry must serve 15 years of post-release supervision and pay $42,000 in restitution to 14 victims. He also must register as a sex offender.
