Saratoga Springs mans gets probation for high-speed chase

A Saratoga Springs man was sentenced to 5 years of probation on Monday for leading police on a high-speed chase last July.
State Police tried to stop Carmen J. Daniele, 44, in Troy because he was wanted on a shoplifting charge.
Daniele led troopers on a chase through Waterford, Halfmoon and Clifton Park. The pursuit ended on the Northway at the Twin Bridges. He was arrested after a foot chase.
Daniele pleaded guilty in February to first-degree reckless endangerment.
