Saratoga Springs school board to vote on diversity resolution

The Saratoga Springs Board of Education is expected to pass a resolution on Thursday to restate its policy to insure a "safe, inclusive and high-quality education for every student."
The Saratoga Springs Board of Education is expected to pass a resolution on Thursday to restate its policy to insure a “safe, inclusive and high-quality education for every student.”
The board resolution states that the board will maintain its commitment to equity, inclusive and diversity, support every students’ right to education regardless of immigration status and make sure their schools continue to be supportive environments for transgender and gender-expansive students.
The board’s meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the high school’s Meade Auditorium.
