Paid permit parking goes into effect in Saratoga Springs. Visitors can still park on the street for free.
The seasonal paid parking program goes into effect in Saratoga Springs this week.
Visitors will be charged $2 per hour to park downtown in garages and lots.
People can park in Congress Park Center for free for two hours and just $5 an hour after that.
Street parking will stay free for everyone.
Residents can also park free with a permit.
