Savoy Taproom, The Copper Crow up for sale

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- After nearly 10 years, owners of the Savoy Taproom and The Copper Crow, Jason and Kay Pierce said they are selling both businesses.
The Pierces bought the Savoy Taproom, then operating as Justin’s, in 2015, renovating it and opening under its original name.
“By the time we came along in 2015 Justin’s was pretty run down,” Jason Pierce said. “We came in and tore it up. We replaced floors, ceilings, fixtures, furniture… We kept enough of the place to make it seem comfortable and familiar and the rest we updated,” he said.
They bought the Copper Crow in 2020 just before the COVID pandemic with dreams of it bringing “a modern New York City warehouse vibe to downtown Albany.”
“We had lofty goals for the Copper Crow and in a short number of years we crushed them,” Pierce said. “It’s made my heart sing to know how many people shared, and are now enjoying, our vision.”
Both businesses are being sold privately. Showings can be made by emailing jpierce@savoyonlark.com.
