Schalmont student discusses how donated blood saved mom’s life

NewsChannel 13 is once again teaming up with the American Red Cross to host another Save A Life Blood Drive. Meet a Schalmont High student who says blood donations saved her mother's life after giving birth to her, by watching the video.

NewsChannel 13 is once again teaming up with the American Red Cross to host another Save a Life Blood Drive.

It takes place Thursday, April 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can call 1-800-Red-Cross to make an appointment, or simply walk in to Kings of Columbus in Saratoga Springs, the Albany Marriott, Proctors Key Hall in Schenectady or the Hedley Building – Loft 433 in Troy.
The Red Cross is always in need of blood to help people fight illness and disease.
