Schenectady County man admits to having child porn

A Schenectady County man has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.

Timothy “Mitch” Duell, 47, admitted in U.S. District Court that he had sexually explicit images of a child under the age of 12 and chat messages in which he discussed sex acts with that child, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Duell faces up to 20 years in prison when sentenced on Nov. 26.
