Schenectady man admits to gun, drug charges

A Schenectady man has pleaded guilty to federal gun and drug charges.

Willie Mills, 31, admitted in U.S. District Court on Monday that he had a semiautomatic pistol and distributed 895 pills that had fentanyl, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Mills has a previous felony conviction and is not allowed to have a gun.

He faces up to 40 years in prison when sentenced, along a fine of up to $5 million and many years of supervised release.
