Schenectady mom charged with stabbing son in arm

A Schenectady mom is accused of stabbing her 16-year-old son during a fight.

Police were called to 1221 State St. just after 11 p.m. Sunday night.

The son was treated for an injury to his arm. He’s expected to be OK.

The mom, Ashley Young, 36, was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
