The Scotia-Glenville director of athletics is on leave.

Superintendent of Schools Susan Swartz confirmed news that Jamian Rockhill is off the job.

The message posted to the school website only said that this is a personnel issue involving a specific employee.

There was a petition circulating that has hundreds of signatures calling for Rockhill’s removal. The petition states: “Throughout Mr. Rockhill’s tenure as Athletic Director there have been numerous avoidable issues that have led to the decline in student participation, athlete’s getting injured, and embarrassment in performance across many programs.”
