Sheriff: Ballston Lake woman was nearly 4x too drunk to drive

A Ballston Lake woman was nearly four times too drunk to drive, when she crashed her car, police said. 

Sarah M. Lopez-Hinds, 31, is accused of crashing her car just after 7 p.m. on Thursday in the town of Ballston, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Lopez-Hinds had a blood alcohol content of 0.30%, according to investigators. The legal limit is 0.08%.

Lopez-Hinds was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content

of .08% or greater (unclassified misdemeanors), speed not reasonable or prudent, and failed to use designated lane.

She was released on appearance tickets and is due in Ballston Town Court at a later date.
