Sheriff: Halfmoon man damaged property at Clifton Park business

A Halfmoon man arrested twice last year on theft charges is now accused of damaging property at a Clifton Park business.
Caleb S. Dejong, 19, allegedly damaged a window, deadbolt and a door frame at the Firestone, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. It happened around 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 29, investigators said.
Dejong’s fingerprint was found at the scene, according to investigators.
Dejong was charged with criminal mischief. He was released on an appearance ticket and due in Clifton Park Town Court at a later date.
This is not Dejong’s first brush with the law. He was arrested for an incident Oct. 26 where he allegedly stole an ATV worth over $3,000 from GT Toyz in Clifton Park, and damaged property at the business. He also allegedly stole two vehicles from a Halfmoon business on Nov. 4.
